These photos illustrate the methods and tools used in the Earley process to create models, assemblies and molds for precast architectural concrete.

These historic photographs were taken inside Earley Studio while the craftsmen were producing the models and molds for the Baha’i House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois.

Earley Studio used the molds to produce precast components at their Studio, to produce precast monumental stairs at the Temple site and to install cast in place architectural concrete at the Temple.

Prints of these photographs are in the collection of the National Baha’i Archives of the United States. With the Archive’s permission the images are presented here for educational purposes.
